WiseTrader Toolbox 3.0 — Release Notes

Version 3.0.0 · June 2026

We're proud to announce WiseTrader Toolbox 3.0. This release greatly expands and modernizes the neural‑network engine — with new training algorithms, built‑in overfitting protection, and brand‑new LSTM and GRU network types — and gives the cycle indicators a choice of six interchangeable analysis engines, four of them new. It also makes the Goertzel and EndPointFFT indicators more accurate and faster, and improves the training screen.

Your existing formulas keep working with no changes: every new setting is optional and defaults to the previous behavior.

Highlights

• New network types — LSTM & GRU. Recurrent networks that learn from a sequence of bars rather than just the latest one — a natural fit for price data.
• Eight new training algorithms. Modern optimizers — Adam, AdamW, RMSProp, AMSGrad, NAdam, Adagrad, Adadelta and Nesterov momentum — join the original Backprop/RPROP family.
• Built‑in overfitting protection. Dropout, weight decay, early stopping and gradient clipping help a network perform well on new data, not just the data it trained on. In our tests these roughly halved the error on unseen data.
• Smarter, automatic model selection. Set aside a slice of recent data for testing and the plugin automatically keeps the network that scores best on that unseen data.
• Six cycle‑analysis engines, one function. SineWave, DominantCycle, EnhancedSignalNoiseRatio, InstantTrendline and HilbertOscillator now take an engine number — including four brand‑new spectrum analyzers (MESA, Burg / maximum‑entropy, Kalman, and multitaper). Leave it out and you get exactly the same result as before.
• More accurate, faster cycle math. Goertzel and EndPointFFT now match their published reference methods, and Goertzel is dramatically faster.
• Improved training screen. A cleaner progress window that works with every network type and can be switched off for automated runs.
• New, simpler licensing. Paste your key once — it's perpetual within a major version and not tied to a single PC.
